As you age, time feels as if it moves faster. but why? I think you can chalk it down to a simple formula: unit of time passed / time spent on earth. So the equation for one second of time passed would be 1 second / 847,940,216 seconds for myself at the moment of writing (increasing by the second!). The time elapsed feels much faster because you've lived and experience so much more than you did as a child. I always compare my experience as a kid traveling vs an adult. Long car and plane rides felt like an eternity as a child but now they feel much faster.
